Hobbies

Chess, running, video games, fantasy sports (i.e. college basketball, NASCAR). About my involvement with my most significant hobby of chess: Became VA State Amateur Chess Champion at age 14. I have had a United States Chess Federation (USCF) rating floor of 2000 since August 2005 after winning clear first in the U2000 section in the 2005 Atlantic Open. Since July 2014, I have held the USCF Candidate Master title. I tied for 2nd in the Open Section of the 2013 VA State Chess Championship where I was the only person to not lose to (rather win against) the state champion for that year. USCF Rating (as of November 2015) is roughly 2100.
