Mark Z.
Private tutor in Peabody, KS
Education
I attended and graduated from Life Pacific College in San Dimas, CA. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts, in Transformational Ministry. In other words, I studied how to impact my community for the better, and learned how to serve people to the best of my ability. I graduated with a GPA of 3.91, or summa cum laude, in Spring 2015. During the Spring of 2014, I studied abroad for three months, staying in the country of Turkey. Living and studying there brought me a profound perspective of other cultures and religions, broadening my worldview and my compassion for others.
Experience
Led Life Pacific College's Writing Center, the tutoring center that proofreads course papers and provides one-on-one feedback to students. Tutored friends in high school, and tutored my younger sisters when they were in elementary school. My SAT score was 1810, and I remained on the Dean's List at Life Pacific College for four years. I love investing into students and families long-term, and becoming a part of the family. I am genuinely interested in the well-being of others, and I love being personal with everyone I meet. My joy comes from seeing others excel, and passing their own expectations.

Hobbies
My personality is towards the calm side of the spectrum, but I love people! I listen more than I speak, and I observe more than I act, yet investing into families is the best part of my day. When I'm not working, I love being in the outdoors, and going on hikes with my wife. The quiet peacefulness of the outdoors refreshes me, but nothing excites me like a good board game with friends! I enjoy hosting game nights at my house, and celebrating the simple things in life. Many of these qualities were developed while I was in the Boy Scouts of America, and climaxed when I was awarded the Eagle Scout award. The adventure continues!
